Every time we hear the NG sound, we have to do this movement:

For writing the NG sound, I have prepared you an activity: You have to write "ng" with a pencil, so you can erase it in case you need it, and to complete some words. The images are going to help you to find out the correct word.

See you in class!

EE and OR sound

 Hey there!!

Today we are finishing the sounds of Group 4 with the EE sound and the OR sound. We have been practicing with vowel sounds for a while, so you already know that "when two vowels go walking, the first does the talking". Which means that in the EE sound, we pronounce only the first E as its name in the alphabet.

If we say out loud "EE - OR" it may sound like "Eeyore", that's why our special action for this sounds are these ones:

Everything is funnier with music, so here is the song that we are working with:

And you know what? Today we are not working with doodles. Today I offer you some examples for working with vowel sounds. We are going to review it in next class, so don't worry if there is something you don't remember or you don't understand.

Take notes of your questions and see you next day!

IE sound

Ahoy!!

In today's lesson, we are working with the IE sound. As we saw in the past days, "When two vowels go walking, the first does the talking", which means that in IE sound we only pronounce the name of the letter I in the alphabet. As in pIE, lIE or tIE.

Here is the song that may help us to pronounce it properly:

Remember to make this movement every time you hear the IE sound:

Try to follow the line with a pencil making this doodle and then read the words down below; every dot indicates the sound you have to say out loud.
